First race, First win for the new Ergo suit reaching the 2012 Dakar podium!

In 2011 the “Research & Development” department was involved in 3 main areas: comfort (research of new high performance materials), lightness (use of yarns that permits a 10% average reduction of sandwich) and wear resistance (new fabric construction).

In 2012, with Ergo project, Sparco starts a new era for racing suit, developing a product studied for driver in a driver position achieving the perfect fit.

The innovative ergonomic design ensures: MORE COMFORT, avoiding extra material both on belt and chest area. MORE VISIBILITY removing the zip on the chest zone: Ergo suit will optimize the space for the sponsor. MORE SAFETY, extraction handles are more visible thanks to the new embroidery colour in contrast.

Throughout lightness concept evolution, Sparco has achieved an extraordinary result reducing the suit weight and, at the same time, showing a safe product as before. The goal of our technical department is to improve and innovate Sparco product range day by day, raising the threshold of technical performance to the top.
