Imagine your dream theme park, and here it is! In Lyon, equipped with simulators perfectly capable of replicating the experience of a car race and what’s more it’s got Sparco equipment.
You don’t have to queue up for hours to get a ride, just book your own driver’s packet on the website (highly recommended they tell me) and then turn up for the session.
After getting a short brief while they dress you in Sparco gear from head to foot, you get three minutes of trial sessions then seven of races against the other drivers.
Naturally the offer isn’t limited to a single category, and you can choose between Formula 1, Rally and Endurance, each sport with specific simulators for the type of race.
Don’t be put off if you think that’s not enough time, and if you think you could start out with a more demanding race, book in for a Crazy Race: every Friday is dedicated to a different category for a half our race, that’s more than enough to satisfy your desire for Grand Prix.
The prices aren’t exactly those of a normal theme park, but then again, this place can’t exactly be considered your run-of-the mill fairground ride.
